We are pleased to announce that Donna Lyons, VP Investments, Advanced TV at XACTV, was named a 2026 Cynopsis Top Women in Media Honoree!
Donna was recognized in the “Deal-Making Directors” category, which honors those in the prime of their careers whose stellar commitment to organizational goals results in outstanding oversight and execution of business objectives. From external deals to internal projects, they consistently drive results and exceed business goals.
Donna has built her career over more than 20 years at AMS by combining deep industry expertise with a leadership style centered around collaboration, innovation, and strategic vision. Beginning her career as a radio assistant, she advanced through local media before becoming Vice President of Investments for our Advanced TV business. That career path has given her a unique understanding of every aspect of our organization and the evolving media marketplace.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Donna for many years, and I’m inspired by her accomplishments. At work, she leads complex negotiations, develops investment plans, delivers budgets, builds new capabilities, and consistently aligns teams across the organization. She’s helped expand our sports business and Advanced TV while forming trusted relationships that create opportunities for our clients, partners, and the organization.
At the same time, Donna (along with her husband Paddy) is raising three children and managing the constant schedule of dance classes, practices, games, school activities, and everything else that comes with being a working mom. Somehow, she keeps everything moving and still makes time to support and mentor the people around her.
Donna handles all of it with incredible ease. Even in the most demanding moments, she keeps things in perspective, makes people laugh, and finds a way forward. A unique combination of leadership, determination, and humor makes Donna such a special colleague, friend, and mom. That’s why I’m more than pleased to support her for a Cynopsis Top Women in Media award.
